Job summary

Jaguar TCS Racing, part of the Jaguar brand, offers a 12-month industrial placement (Sept 2027–Aug 2028) within the Formula E Car Development (Software) group in the UK. You will join a team of engineers, learning to develop software tools and APIs using modern technologies to support race weekend decisions.

You should be pursuing a degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, with a passion for programmable systems, cloud tech, and data-driven engineering.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals and eagerness to learn.
• Interest in .NET, cloud technologies and software tooling.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Car Development team on software tools and APIs.
• Develop tools using the .NET stack, cloud tech and Docker to automate apps.
• Support ECU monitoring, data processing, document management and event management.
• Maintain databases (SQL/NoSQL) and write tests (unit/integration/mutation).
• Experiment with frontier AI models and innovative coding approaches.
