Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Vision invites applicants for a 12‑month, non-degree education role in Maidenhead/Wokingham. You will support event planning, coordinate logistics for in-person and digital courses, and contribute to the STEP education programme for Eye Care Professionals.

The role requires travel may occur and a 2:1 in the first year with a business/event focus is preferred. You will work within a collaborative team to deliver high-quality education experiences.

Qualifications

• Two years of degree-level study completed.
• Minimum 2:1 achieved in first year of study.
• Business related, event management degree types preferred.
• May require travel to event venues with occasional overnight stays.
• Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communicator both orally and in writing.
• Strong organisational skills and decision-making skills including accountability and ownership of projects.
• Self-motivated with a high level of tenacity.
• Be confident to manage day to day events on their own.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritisation of tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support UK Professional Education and Development Team with regards to event planning, organisation and execution.
• Manage logistics for attendees and faculty members attending courses physically or digitally.
• Ensure the smooth running of courses by being main point of contact on the day for faculty and attendees.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure delivery of services as part of education delivery.
• Ensure activities comply with Health Care Compliance guidelines and processes for engagements of contractors.
• Source new promotional materials and manage briefing to delivery of finished articles.
• Support copy approval process for professional content and materials.
• Track attendance and manage pre-/post-event processes.
• Upload Continuing Education & Training credits to GOC portal for non-Key Account activities.
