Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Swindon is recruiting Clinical Teaching Fellows for a fixed-term 12-month appointment to support undergraduate medical education with students from Bristol, Oxford and Kings College London.

The role combines an educational component (80%) with a clinical component (20%), offering a pathway for doctors taking time out before specialty training or pursuing an MSc/MD. Teaching, placements, and assessments form core duties.

Qualifications

• MBBS/MBChB with GMC registration.
• Foundation training completed (Yrs 1 & 2).
• Teaching experience and ability to work independently.

Responsabilités

• Deliver and coordinate formal teaching sessions and ensure timetabling for units and placements.
• Supervise student placements and support research/abstracts for conferences.
• Lead simulation scenarios and contribute to educational resources.
