Job description

We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work closely with a Reception-aged student with strong behavioural needs in a Primary School in Wandsworth.

1:1 Teaching Assistant

Location:

Primary school in Wandsworth

Start Date:

21/04/2025

Contract Type:

4 days a week until the end of the academic year

Salary:

£90-£110 a day

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide 1:1 support to a Reception-aged student with strong behavioural needs, both in the classroom and during other school activities.
2. Help the student manage and express emotions appropriately, using strategies to promote positive behaviour.
3. Support the child's social, emotional, and academic development in line with individual education plans (IEPs).
4. Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the child is included and supported throughout the day.
