Job summary

Connex Education are recruiting on behalf of several Derby schools for 1 to 1 Teaching Assistants. Most pupils needing support benefit from a TA who is comfortable with and experienced in Special Educational Needs.

You must have a L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification or substantial relevant experience. A full enhanced DBS, and completion of Connex Education onboarding are expected.

Person Specification

To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:

• A L2/L3 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or exceptional relatable experience of working as a Teaching Assistant.

• Experience of working as a teach ing Assistant in a British curriculum school for a minimum of two terms.

• Full enhanced DBS certificate.

• Completion of the Connex Education Onboarding Process.

• The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teaching assistant.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong rapport building skills, with pupils and with co-workers.

• A minimum of 2 school based references
