Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking a 1-2-1 Tutor in Medway to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, and often with Special Educational Needs. You will deliver Maths and English to KS1–4 or Functional Skills, with flexible assignments.

Applicants must be a qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS) and hold an enhanced DBS. Availability of at least 3 hours per day, Monday to Friday, is required to be considered. All pay rates include holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS on update service (we can assist with a new application).
• Availability for at least 3 hours per day (Mon-Fri) to be considered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Maths & English to KS1/2/3/4 or Functional Skills, often not aligned with age-related expectations.
• Complete daily attendance/session feedback and half termly progress reports.

Salary: GBP35 - GBP42 per hour

1-2-1 Tutor Medway

Monarch Education is currently taking referrals in theMedway area for 1-2-1 tutors to work with children who are not currently accessing an education setting.

The children that you would be working with are often experiencing a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties, and may also have Special Educational Needs.

You would be required to deliver Maths & English usually at KS 1/2/3/4 level, or Functional Skills; often pupils are not working to age-related expectations.

• Tuition usually takes place within the school day, and you would need to be available for AT LEAST 3 hours per day ( Monday to Friday) to be considered
• You can accept as many assignments as your schedule will allow! You would be required to complete daily attendance/session feedback, and half termly progress reports.
• Tuition usually needs to be put in place very quickly, sowould notsuit anyone working full time who has to work a notice period.
• must be a qualified teacher (QTS or QTLS)
• You must have an enhanced, child workforce DBS on the update service - we can assist you with a new application if you do not have this.
