Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking an One to One Tutor in Beeston for flexible hours, offering £30 per hour. You will work 1:1 with students to improve Maths and English, tailoring sessions to individual needs and delivering progress reports.

Sessions may occur at home, in libraries, online or at schools, with a focus on helping learners overcome barriers to success. Ideal candidates have teaching experience, the ability to follow the national curriculum, and a willingness to obtain Enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification/experience (classroom or 1:1).
• Ability to plan and deliver Maths and English lessons following national curriculum.
• Experience of working with students with EHCPs.
• Enhanced DBS (willing to apply).
• Patience, understanding and passionate about helping young learners.

Responsibilities

• You will tutor students 1:1 to help them overcome barriers to learning in Maths and English.
• Plan, adapt and tailor sessions to meet individual needs and goals.
• Monitor progress and provide weekly reports to evidence growth.
• Sessions can take place in students' homes, libraries, online or at schools.
