Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Hucknall is seeking a dedicated One-to-One Tutor (part time or full time) to support learners in Maths and English on a 1:1 basis. Sessions are flexible and can take place at students’ homes, libraries, online or at schools.

You will tailor lessons to individual needs, track progress with weekly reports, and collaborate with a dedicated consultant to ensure the right match and ongoing support. DBS is encouraged and experience with EHCPs is valued.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification/experience (classroom or 1:1)
• Ability to plan and deliver Maths and English lessons following the national curriculum
• Experience of working with students with EHCPs
• Enhanced DBS (willing to apply)

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 tutoring to students in Maths and English
• Plan, adapt and tailor sessions to meet individual needs
• Monitor progress and provide weekly reports documenting progress
• Match with a student based on strengths to maximize impact
• Sessions can occur at home, in libraries, online or at schools
