Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking 1:1 tutors for flexible part-time or full-time, temporary opportunities in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will work 1:1 with students in Maths and English, planning and delivering lessons aligned with the national curriculum.

Roles involve visiting students at home, libraries, or schools, with DBS application encouraged. We offer flexible hours to fit your lifestyle, ongoing consultant support, competitive pay, and options for in-person or online sessions.

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification/experience (classroom or 1:1).
• Ability to plan and deliver Maths and English lessons following national curriculum.
• Experience of working with students with EHCPs.
• Enhanced DBS (willing to apply).
• Passionate about working with young people.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 tutoring to students who cannot attend school.
• Plan, adapt and tailor sessions to meet individual needs.
• Deliver Maths and English sessions in homes, libraries or schools.
• Match you with a student based on strengths to help them thrive.

Salary- £30 an hour (dependent on experience/qualifications)
