Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with multiple needs at a Bolton primary school. You will provide steady, patient care, help with routines, communication and inclusion, and work under the guidance of teachers and the SENCO.

Immediate start for a temporary, full-time role with a competitive weekly pay (£470–£570) and clear guidance to support the pupil and their wellbeing. Training and ongoing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting others in roles like TA, LSA, care, youth work or volunteering.
• Graduates in psychology, education, childcare or health and social care are welcome.
• No SEN experience? compassion and commitment matter; full support provided.

Responsibilities

• Build a warm, trusting bond with the pupil over time.

A welcoming primary school in Bolton is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work alongside a pupil with multiple additional needs. For this child, a trusted adult makes all the difference. You will be that person, offering steady, gentle support from the moment they arrive until home time.

The Role

This is a care-focused position where the relationship comes first. You will help the pupil feel secure, comfortable and included, and support them to take part in school life at a pace that suits them.

We're Looking For

• Experience supporting others, such as in a TA, LSA, support worker, care, youth work or volunteering role

• Specialist school or residential children's home experience is desirable, but not essential
• A patient, kind and reliable nature
• Resilience and a positive outlook when days are challenging
