Job summary

Criftins CE Primary School and Nursery is recruiting a 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Nursery) to provide dedicated support for a nursery-aged child. The role is funded at £13.28 per hour for 10 hours per week on a fixed term until 31 July 2027, within our nurturing school community.

You will work closely with the EYFS Lead, SENDCo and school team to help the child access learning, develop independence and participate in nursery life while supporting personal care where required.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children, particularly those with SEND or additional needs.
• Caring, patient and able to build positive relationships with children and families.
• Ability to support communication, engagement, learning and independence.
• Work well as part of a team and be committed to helping every child succeed.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a nursery-aged child.
• Assist with wellbeing, personal care and implementation of personalised support plans.
• Support access to learning opportunities and development of independence.
• Join the EYFS team and contribute to a nurturing, values-led school community.
