Job summary

Coombe House School in Farnham is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide support in the classroom and during lunch breaks. The ideal candidate should have a GCSE in English and Maths and a love for working with children.

This is a fixed-term contract until 16th July 2027, with a potential for extension. The school provides a supportive environment focused on high expectations of behaviour and achievement.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English grade 4-9 (A-C) or equivalent essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to relate well to children, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Support the teaching and learning under the direction of the class teacher.
• Provide group and one-to-one support to students.
• Supervise children in the hall, playground, and other areas during lunch.
