Job summary

Littlecoates Primary Academy in Grimsby is seeking a committed full-time 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with type 1 diabetes and complex communication needs, starting on 2 November 2026 or sooner.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with medical or communication needs in a primary setting.
• TA Level 3 qualification required.
• Ability to provide medical and pastoral care as part of the pupil's plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical and pastoral care per the pupil's medical plan and manage equipment.
• Keep accurate records and share as required with parents and staff.
• Support the pupil's learning needs under teacher direction.
