Job summary

Classroom Recruiters is partnering with a reputable school in the Belper area to recruit dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants. You will be assigned to a single pupil for the academic year, supporting learning and engagement with tailored strategies.

Hours are 8:15 to 16:15, with full-time preferred but part-time (minimum 3 days) available. After a 10-week trial, you enter a permanent contract with a 6-month probation period.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school or supporting children is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a named pupil to access learning.
• Assist the class teacher by adapting tasks and resources.
• Support pupils with SEND including communication, attention and regulation.
• Help manage routines, transitions and wellbeing.
