Support classroom activities, adapting approaches where necessary to meet individual needs and maximise engagement.Personal Welfare, Pastoral and Emotional Support:Attend to pupils' personal, social, emotional, health and welfare needs, including first aid where appropriate. Provide nurturing pastoral support that helps children develop confidence, resilience, self-regulation and positive relationships. Using trauma-informed and restorative approaches, support pupils to overcome barriers to learning, manage emotions effectively and engage successfully in school life. Promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing and inclusion, ensuring every child feels safe, valued and able to thrive within our school family.Targeted Inclusion and Bespoke Support:Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils, acting as a consistent and encouraging role model.
