Job summary

New Directions Education is seeking caring 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support a primary-aged pupil in Buckley, helping them access learning and reach their potential. You’ll build strong relationships, adapt activities to individual needs and provide nurturing support throughout the day.

Role involves collaboration with the class teacher and school team to ensure consistent, effective assistance. A DBS check is required and opportunities span local primary schools in Wales.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare or similar setting.
• Caring, patient and compassionate by nature.
• Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with children.
• Adaptable, resilient and able to think on your feet.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
