Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Thetford is seeking a compassionate 1-1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs in a welcoming school setting.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow IEPs, help the pupil access the curriculum, and develop independence and confidence. DBS is required or is to be obtained if not already held.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).

We're looking for an enthusiastic and committed 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Thetford.

The Role:

You’ll provide dedicated support to an individual pupil, helping them to access the curriculum, overcome barriers to learning, and fully participate in school life. You’ll work closely with the class teacher and Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to implement support plans and help the pupil reach their full academic and personal potential.
