Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School based in Monmouthshire. This role runs 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, supporting a pupil with SEN and contributing to an inclusive classroom.

Depending on performance, the contract may be extended or made permanent. The school values CPD and ongoing development for staff and offers safeguarding and behaviour-management training.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

The Primary School has supportive teaching staff. The school is going from strength to strength and providing CPD throughout the year.

Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location - Monmouthshire
• Position - 1:1 Teaching Assistant
• Full-Time - Monday to Friday
• Day rate of pay - 95 - 105
• Hours - 8:30 am - 3:30 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a UK school
• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year
• Experience or interest in Special Educational Needs
• Autism, Speech, and Language Needs

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
