Job Title: ALN Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

We are seeking creative individuals to provide one-to-one support within a school in Newport. Many pupils have additional difficulties such as physical and/or sensory impairments or autistic spectrum disorder.

As an ALN LSA, you will support pupils on a 1:1 basis, helping them access the curriculum at an appropriate level for their specific needs. This role is suited for enthusiastic, motivated, caring individuals who can nurture children and adults to achieve their potential.

Requirements:

1. A minimum of 3 months child-based experience or a background in the care sector
2. A child and adult DBS check, or willingness to undertake one via New Directions
3. Willingness to complete mandatory training as required
4. Flexibility and adaptability to work both short-term and long-term
