Milk Education are currently supporting a welcoming primary school in Bury to recruit a caring 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a pupil with autism. The role involves providing personalised one-to-one support, helping the pupil access lessons and develop communication and emotional regulation skills throughout the school day.
You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, supporting transitions and strategies, in a nurturing, patient environment.

You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and wider school team to support the pupil’s academic, social and emotional development, helping them to feel confident, included and comfortable within the school environment.
The successful candidate will be calm, nurturing and adaptable, with the ability to recognise individual needs and develop a positive, trusting relationship with the child.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience and the requirements of the assignment.
