Job summary

Hatherop Castle School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil in Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3. The role involves close collaboration with teachers, the SENCo and parents to help the pupil access learning and build confidence.

Ideal candidates will have prior TA experience, a passion for helping children thrive, and the ability to support a nurturing, ambitious learning environment within a historic Cotswolds setting.

Qualifications

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil across KS2/KS3.
• Collaborate with class teachers, the SENCo and parents to enable progress.
• Support learning, social and emotional development in a busy school.

Responsibilities

• Support a pupil with learning tasks and independence.
• Work closely with teaching staff to monitor progress.
• Assist with pastoral care and student wellbeing.
