Job summary

St Elizabeth Care Agency is recruiting a Female Support Worker to assist a non-verbal young lady with complex needs at her home in Ipswich. You will provide intimate personal care, enable communication, and support outings and community activities, fostering independence and quality of life.

The role offers full training, flexible hours, and opportunities for additional hours within domiciliary care. Driving is required, and training in care standards is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience supporting people with complex needs.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Access to your own vehicle.
• Female applicants only due to the needs of the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living activities.
• Support communication and promote independence.
• Assist with community outings in an accessible vehicle.
• Engage in music, singing and sensory activities to enhance quality of life.
