Job summary

St Elizabeth Care Agency in Ipswich is seeking a dedicated Female Support Worker to provide 1:1 home care for a young lady with complex needs. The role involves personal care, communication support, and assisting with community outings in her own home.

Shifts include 8:00am–5:30pm with weekend work and potential extra hours. The role offers full training, a supportive team, and opportunities to gain recognised qualifications. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Minimum of one year’s experience supporting people with complex needs.
• Female applicants only due to personal care requirements.
• Post is open to female applicants under Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support with daily living.
• Support communication, promote choice and independence.
• Assist with community outings and driving the client’s accessible vehicle.
• Engage in music, singing and sensory activities and help access the community.
• Work closely with family and care team to ensure consistent support.
