Job summary

Specialist SEND Group in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced SEND Tutor to provide 1:1 tuition with set weekly hours and paid planning time. You will tailor sessions to the learner’s needs, monitor progress and support accreditation goals.

The role requires a qualified teacher with SEND/SEMH experience, a valid DBS via Update Service (or willingness to obtain one), and the right to work in the UK. Flexible, supportive environment with ongoing SEND team backing.

Qualifications

• Experience working with learners with SEND & SEMH is essential.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver set hours of face-to-face tuition per week.
• Provide 1 hour of paid planning and administration time weekly.
• Plan personalised sessions to learner needs and learning styles.
• Gather and submit evidence in line with ASDAN requirements.
