Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience of working with young children with a variety of special educational needs.
• Knowledge of managing children with emotional regulation difficulties which can present as challenging behaviour.
• Ability to use initiative to create simple teaching resources.

Responsibilities

• Support children with physical, sensory and social communication needs.
• Predominantly 1:1 Teaching Assistant within the school setting; some group work may be required.
• Work with class teacher, school team, Local SEN lead and Trust SENCO, and external contacts to support learning and development.
