Job summary

Class Act Recruitment is seeking SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistants for full-time, long-term roles starting ASAP in primary schools. You will provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEND, assist teachers with tailored activities, and help create an inclusive learning environment.

Ideal candidates hold Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualifications, have experience in primary settings, and can build positive relationships while safeguarding children. Weekly PAYE payments and exclusive perks are included.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is essential.
• Experience working in a primary school setting.
• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND needs on a one-to-one basis.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with SEND needs
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities
• Adapt resources and strategies to meet individual learning requirements
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
• Monitor and record pupil progress and report to the teacher
• Work closely with parents, teachers, and external professionals
• Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
