SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistants – Full-time or Part-time, starting as soon as possible


We are seeking dedicated SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistants to provide personalised support to pupils with special educational needs across a variety of school settings. These flexible opportunities are ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact and enjoy working closely with pupils to help them achieve their full potential.

Duties as SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
  • Provide one-to-one support for pupils with a range of SEND needs
  • Assist teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual requirements
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Implement strategies outlined in individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff
Ideal SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant:
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND in an educational setting
  • Strong understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with additional needs
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
  • Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
