Job summary

Class Mate Education Limited is recruiting for a KS2 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with ADHD at a primary school in NG5. You will provide consistent, individualised support to help the pupil access learning, manage the school day and develop greater confidence and independence.

The role involves 1:1 support, helping access to classroom activities, using strategies to encourage focus and engagement, promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding, and working closely with the class

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND.
• Experience supporting pupils with ADHD is highly desirable.
• Understanding of behaviour, regulation and individual support strategies.
• Patient, consistent and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
