Protocol Education Limited is recruiting a dedicated 1:1 SEND Support Assistant in Gateshead to support a Year 1 pupil needing extra help with behaviour and emotional regulation.

The role suits graduates in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies or related subjects who are passionate about SEND and child development, and who are calm, patient and resilient. You will collaborate with the class teacher and school team to deliver targeted support.

Responsabilités

• 1:1 classroom support for the pupil.

• Supporting emotional regulation of the pupil.
• Supporting social development and interactions.
• Building confidence and independence in the pupil.
• Facilitating positive communication with staff and pupil.
• Developing a trusting relationship with the pupil and family.
