A welcoming SEND primary school in Gateshead is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to work with a Year 1 pupil who requires additional support with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or experienced support worker who wants to build practical experience within SEND and primary education.
You'll provide consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day, helping the pupil navigate the classroom and engage positively with learning.
Your day-to-day responsibilities could include:

We're looking for someone who is:
Graduates in Psychology, Education, Childhood Studies, Criminology or related subjects would be particularly suited to this opportunity.
