Job summary

Prospero Teaching are partnered with Local Councils and SEND teams across the UK to support learners outside mainstream education. We are seeking a KS1-KS4 Maths and English tutor with QTS to provide 1:1 support for students with SEND who are re-engaging with learning.

Lessons take place in local libraries or at the pupil's home. The role requires creativity, patience, and a strong background in SEN, with DBS and references in place.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent is required to be eligible for the role.
• Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils is essential.
• UK classroom teaching experience is required.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KS1–KS4 Maths and English on a 1:1 basis.
• Assess current ability and reintroduce education into the routine.
• Sessions run in local libraries or the pupil's home as needed.
