Job summary

Study Mind is seeking an experienced female SEN Tutor to provide bespoke 1:1 home tuition for a Year 4 pupil with an EHCP awaiting specialist placement. Sessions focus on academic progress and developing communication, confidence and independence through multi-sensory, sensory-aware teaching.

The student has Autism and benefits from consistent routines, visual learning and short, structured tasks. This role offers part-time hours and a supportive SEN team.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting autistic learners.
• Ability to deliver differentiated, multi-sensory lessons.
• Strong communication with parents and professionals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 15 hours of 1:1 home tuition weekly.
• Teach KS2 English, Maths and Science through a differentiated curriculum.
• Support communication, confidence and emotional regulation.
• Use visual, practical learning methods and iPads for recording progress.
• Collaborate with parents and professionals supporting the EHCP.
