We are seeking a dedicated, nurturing, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with ASD in a supportive Birmingham primary school (B42).

This is a full-time, long-term supply position with the potential for a more permanent opportunity for the right candidate.

About the Child:

  • Has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Benefits from consistent structure and calm, patient guidance
  • Is taught away from the main class environment for most of the day
  • Responds well to Makaton, Symbols, and PECS (experience in these is highly desirable)
  • Needs a 1:1 SEN TA to support learning, engagement, and emotional regulation throughout the school day
