Job summary

Vision For Education Ltd. is seeking a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant in Sunderland to support a pupil with additional needs. The role includes helping the pupil engage with learning, support social-emotional development, and work with teachers to meet individual learning goals.

The position is full-time and temporary, with ASAP start and weekly pay between £462.80 and £500 depending on experience and qualifications, in a supportive school environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with primary school aged pupils.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Passion for progress of primary school pupils.
• Able to work effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support a pupil 1:1 in class and in other activities as needed.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to deliver learning and wellbeing activities.
• Help the pupil engage with learning and manage emotions.
• Contribute to positive behaviour and confidence-building throughout the day.
