About the Role:
As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with one child, offering tailored, consistent support throughout the school day. You'll play a vital role in helping them access the curriculum, develop key life skills, and feel safe, valued, and encouraged every step of the way.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Provide focused 1:1 support to a child with SEN in and out of the classroom
Help implement and adapt their Individual Education Plan (IEP)
Support emotional regulation, communication, and social development
Encourage participation in learning activities and build confidence
Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, parents, and external specialists
About You:
Experience working with children with SEN (highly desirable)
Calm, patient, and committed to providing consistent support
Passionate about inclusion, equity, and empowering every child
A relevant qualification (e.g., TA Level 2/3, SEN training) is a plus-but we welcome transferable skills and the right attitude!
