Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a caring 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs across schools in Telford, Shrewsbury and the surrounding Shropshire area.

This role offers the chance to make a real difference in a child’s education, with 1:1 support, collaboration with teachers and opportunities for professional development. All applicants must meet safeguarding requirements, including a valid enhanced DBS.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable.
• A patient, caring and flexible approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one, subject to the employer's requirements.
