Edex is recruiting a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Havering. You will provide tailored 1:1 support to pupils with various Special Educational Needs across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

The role starts ASAP, is full-time during term-time, and offers the chance to work with a supportive inclusion team and ongoing CPD to grow your SEN knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

  • Must be a graduate with a passion for SEN and education.
  • Previous experience working with children or in a SEN setting preferred.
  • Caring, patient and empathetic, with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to engage pupils and adapt activities to individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with Special Educational Needs.
