St John’s Catholic Primary School in Bath is seeking a compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS2 pupil. The role is 7.5 hours per week, term time only, fixed-term until 31 August 2027. The post is graded Grade 3, Point 5-6, with a salary range of £26,427–£26,847 per annum (FTE).

You will build trusting relationships, adapt learning activities, and work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to help the pupil make academic and personal progress.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting a KS2 pupil in a 1:1 setting.
• Ability to follow teacher instructions and adapt learning activities.
• Willingness to engage in intimate care if required.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 SEN support to a KS2 pupil during lessons and break times.
• Assist with adapting activities to meet individual learning needs and ensure inclusion.
• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENDCo to monitor progress and report concerns.
