Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a dedicated SEN Provision Teaching Assistant to support a pupil on a 1:1 basis in a Bloxwich SEND provision. You will help the pupil access learning, build confidence and thrive within a supportive school environment.

You will work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals; prior school-based experience and Level 2/3 TA qualifications are desirable. We offer training, a welcoming school community and opportunities for professional development, plus a £250

Qualifications

• Experience with children in a school setting.
• Understanding of SEN/additional needs.
• Patience, empathy and excellent communication skills.
• Positive, proactive approach to supporting learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs.
• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Help to manage behaviour in a positive and consistent way.
• Support the pupil's social and emotional development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals.
