Job summary

Qualiteach Education Group is seeking a dedicated 1:1 SEMH Teaching Assistant in Lambeth to support a Year 5 pupil with SEMH needs. You will provide consistent 1:1 support across the school day, fostering emotional regulation and engagement with learning in a welcoming primary setting.

The role requires patience, calmness and confidence in managing emotions, building positive relationships with staff, and supporting the child’s progress academically and socially.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, challenging behaviour or additional needs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil with SEMH throughout the school day.
• Assist with learning, behaviour and social development, helping the pupil engage with lessons and stay focused.
