Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Secondary Specialism Tutor to support learners across Portsmouth and surrounding areas through personalised 1:1 tuition. The role focuses on building confidence and helping students re-engage with education to make progress.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you will tailor educational support for learners facing barriers, with flexible hours and opportunities across multiple subjects for KS3 and KS4. Start September.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, tutoring, teaching or similar roles
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons
• Experience supporting secondary-aged learners
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored educational support to learners across Portsmouth and surrounding areas
• Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition
• Support learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs where applicable
