Job summary

Justteachers Ltd in Wakefield are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a one-form-entry Wakefield Primary school that is inclusive and welcoming to all. The role is five days a week from 8:30am to 3:30pm and will run on a long-term basis.

Responsibilities include supporting a Year 1 pupil with an EHCP for SEMH, assisting with planning and delivering targeted interventions, providing one-to-one support for pupils with additional needs, and building a trusted, positive relationship

Qualifications

• Experience working with EHCPs.
• A calm, patient, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for education and child development.
• Two school-based references.
