Job summary

Disability North is seeking a warm, reliable Personal Assistant to provide 1:1 support for Darren, a 14-year-old with autism. The role involves engaging him in favourite activities while prioritising safety and well-being. Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and access to their own car, and be prepared to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

Salary is £14.00 per hour. Hours include 3.5 hours every other Saturday during term time and 10 hours per week in school holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 1:1 support to individuals with additional needs.
• Enhanced DBS check is required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 personal assistance to Darren during activities.
