Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Maths & English Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 support to students in Erith and surrounding areas. The role supports learners currently outside mainstream education and requires tailored lessons to re-engage and build confidence.

You will deliver engaging tuition aligned to the UK National Curriculum, monitor progress, and communicate with parents, schools, and authorities as needed. DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Competenze

• Experience teaching or tutoring Maths and English.
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Right to work in the UK.

• Deliver engaging and personalised Maths and English tuition tailored to the student's age, ability, and learning needs.
• Support students who are currently out of school and may have gaps in their education.
• Identify learning needs and create structured lesson plans to accelerate progress.
• Develop confidence and competence in core Maths and English skills.
• Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit individual learning styles and needs.
• Foster positive attitudes towards learning and encourage student engagement.
• Monitor, record, and report on student progress and outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with students, parents/carers, schools, and local authorities where required.
