Job summary

Stradbroke CE Primary School in Stradbroke, Suffolk invites applications for a 1-to-1 Learning Support Assistant. The role is term-time and fixed-term to 31 August 2027, working 32 hours 30 minutes per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm, 38 weeks with lunch duties.

You will support a pupil with SEND in Key Stage 2, requiring patience, empathy and initiative in a caring, friendly school environment committed to inclusion and high standards.

Qualifications

• Highly motivated, compassionate, patient and attentive Learning Support Assistant.
• Experience in a school or working with children with additional needs preferred.
• High expectations for learning and behaviour with a commitment to inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Support pupil(s) with special educational needs within a primary school setting.
• Provide 1-to-1 support to Key Stage 2 pupils and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and other staff to enable inclusive learning.
