Job summary

GSL Education is seeking an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive school in Maidenhead. This temporary-to-permanent role focuses on providing dedicated 1:1 support to students with learning needs, working with teachers to implement personalised learning plans.

You will collaborate with Special Education Coordinators and other professionals to promote wellbeing and progression, while safeguarding duties and DBS checks are required.

Qualifications

• 1:1 or small-group support for students with learning needs
• Commitment to safeguarding and child protection duties
• Ability to work with teachers and specialists to implement learning plans

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one support to specific students with learning needs
• Assist in implementing individualised education plans
• Collaborate with teachers, coordinators and professionals to support the student
• Foster a positive relationship to promote well-being and engagement
• Monitor and report progress to teachers and parents
• Work with a holistic support team to ensure student progress
