Job summary

Preston Hedges Trust is inviting applications for a fixed-term role providing 1-to-1 support for an individual pupil. Hours are 8.45am–3.15pm, Monday to Friday, totaling 30 hours per week with a 30-minute lunch break.

Successful candidate will be enthusiastic about primary education, dedicated to meeting the personal needs of a child, and committed to safeguarding. Training in first aid and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work with a pupil on a 1-to-1 basis.
• Enthusiasm for primary education and whole-child development.
• Commitment to safeguarding policies and team participation.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1-to-1 support for a pupil.
• Collaborate with staff to implement individual learning plans.
• Attend professional development and safeguarding training.
• Support the class teacher as part of the team.
