The Role
You’ll work closely with a primary-aged child who has complex learning and communication needs. Your role will involve providing consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day—adapting tasks, managing transitions, and helping with emotional regulation. You’ll work alongside the SENCO and classroom staff to implement a tailored support plan that enables the child to engage safely and meaningfully with the curriculum.
The Candidate
You’re calm, patient, and reliable with a genuine interest in working with children who have high levels of need. Previous experience in SEN, care, or support roles is highly valued. You’ll need clear communication skills, resilience, and a sensitive, adaptable approach to daily challenges.
