A welcoming primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to join their team on a 1:1 basis with a non-verbal child with ASD. You will provide tailored support throughout the school day, building a positive relationship and assisting with communication and access to learning activities.

Experience with autism and communication needs is desirable, and familiarity with PECS or similar visual strategies is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Experience supporting children with autism and communication needs.
• Familiarity with PECS or other visual communication strategies.
• Able to work 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Aufgaben

• Provide 1:1 support to a non-verbal child with ASD throughout the day.
• Support communication and emotional regulation.
• Collaborate with class teacher and school team.
