Job summary

An online learning platform is looking for experienced tutors to provide personalized lessons to K-12 ESL students based in Singapore and Hong Kong. The role offers a flexible schedule and pays $20 USD per class plus incentives. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of teaching experience. Tutors must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week and possess strong communication skills to create a welcoming online learning environment.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience teaching grades K-12 in ELA.
• Experience with K-12 ELA standards and curriculum.
• Experience teaching ESL learners.
• Teaching qualification preferred but not required.
• Fast and reliable internet connection.
• Able to commit to a minimum of 6 months of teaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized 1 on 1 instruction for your students.
• Update your availability in the Cosmo App.
• Prepare appropriate lesson materials for the student's age and ability.
• Submit Class Feedback after each lesson.
• Communicate with parents and students professionally.
• Attend all classes on time and in a professional setting.
